Dear Sir/Madam,
I am applying for an English teaching position. I am an excellent fit for this position as I have the experience and motivation to be an exceptional teacher for young students. With a Bachelor in Science and six years of teaching experience, including one year teaching English in Korea, I am confident I would be an excellent match for your needs.
In my past teaching experience, I focused a lot on student-centered learning and hands-on education. This experience has given me an amazing set of tools to work with inside an ESL classroom. I believe the more students use English themselves, the more progress they will make. Students who feel confident, challenged, and motivated have a much greater success in the classroom and I am excellent at creating a classroom environment that has these qualities.
Further, I have been teaching English in Korea for one year, working with elementary students to adults, and have gained an understanding of Korean students and their needs as learners, as well as different techniques for teaching English. With these skills, I have the ability to meet student needs and match learning styles while keeping class enjoyable and interesting.
Teaching English in Korea allows me to work closely with students, helping them to increase their English language skills. In a global economy, English is important to become a successful member of an international community. English is the language spoken in international business, as well as in the best universities in the world. In addition, I will benefit from the experience by continuing to grow as an educator while growing personally as I experienceKorea culturemore deeply, including its delicious food.
Please see my attached documents and I greatly look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
